Hello, everyone who is receiving this--I bet you are surprised to hear from me here. Well, me, too. I hope everyone is doing as well as they can during the pandemic.

Considering the lack of actually good cannabis coverage in San Diego (sorry, not sorry), I have decided to resurrect my now-dead San Diego CityBeat cannabis column, Cannabitch, and will be using this email list to do so. It won’t just be about SD or CA, so if you’re from further afield, consider hanging out for a while. Please kindly unsubscribe if you're not interested--I am using the list from TinyLetter that you all subscribed to years ago. If you’d like to stay, then you’re all set.

At first it will be just free and a weekly dispatch. I will add more content for paid subscribers later—you can decide if you like it first. It will cover all aspects of cannabis culture from local to national, social justice to product reviews, interviews, cultural stories and personal essays from me and, hopefully, with your support, other writers. I hope you'll stick around, even if you’re not a serious weed smoker. We’re talking about larger cultural stuff here.
